Selim Senkan

Prof. Selim Senkan  is a full professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at University of California, Los Angeles. He and his research group  strive to develop novel catalytic systems for clean energy and environmental sustainability. He has authored/co-authored numerous books and book chapters, and many refereed journal and conference papers. He has attended many national and international conferences, symposia, workshops and technical meetings. He has delivered many keynote and invited lectures

His  Recent Research Projects;

  • Catalytic reduction of CO2 at low pressure
  • Synthesis & Applications of nanofiber metal oxide catalytic material
  • Direct gas-phase epoxidation of propylene to form propylene oxide using molecular oxygen
  • Systematic development of detailed kinetic modeling for heterogeneous catalytic systems.
